1. Data Collected

We collect the following data when you create an account and use the App:

  • Email address and password which is encrypted
  • First name and last name
  • Profile picture
  • Digital business card content (including company name, type, logo, professional email, business address, business phone number, social media links and any attached documents such as PNG or PDF files)
  • Team affiliation (if applicable)
  • Custom information like meetings, notes, tags and favorites associated with contacts

When signing in with a third-party service (e.g., Google or Apple), we collect only the email address (may be anonymized depending on Apple’s privacy settings). We do not access your password or any sensitive authentication information from these third-party providers.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

Your data is collected and used for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your user account
  • To allow sign-in and account creation via third-party services (Google, Apple)
  • To allow you to create and manage digital business cards
  • To enable sharing of your business cards with other users
  • To manage Teams (groups of users)
  • To ensure the proper functioning and security of the App

3. Data Sharing

Your personal data is never shared with third parties. We do not share your information with Apple or Google. These services are only used for authentication. Only the data included in a digital business card is shared to another user when you choose to initiate the sharing of a card with this user. No data is shared automatically, sharing is entirely initiated by the user. Each card shared has its own identifier. A contact you shared your card with can share the card or information to other users. This is done that way as the core objective of the application is sharing your business card to users.

4. Data Storage

All data is securely stored in our application’s internal database. Data from all users and teams are stored in the same database but are logically separated.

5. Permissions used by the application

All permissions are used solely to enable or improve user-requested features and are never used for marketing or unrelated tracking purposes.

Camera Access

We may request access to your device’s camera in order to allow you to:

  • Take a profile picture
  • Add a background photo for your card
  • Capture a logo of the company for your card
  • Add photos to your cards
  • Digitize a paper business card

Photo Gallery Access

We may request access to your device’s photo gallery so you can upload:

  • A profile picture or background image
  • A company logo
  • Attachments to your business card (images)
  • Add a photo of a paper business card

File Access

We may request permission to access your device’s file storage in order to upload documents (images, videos, pdf docs) into your digital business card.

Contacts Access

If you choose to export contacts from MyDiCard to your device’s Contacts app, we may request access to your device’s contact list for that sole purpose.

Internet Access

Internet connectivity is required to use the application with all its features.

Notifications

We may request permission to send you notifications for updates, reminders, or sharing confirmations related to the app.

6. User Rights

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct or update your data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at: . The deletion, correction and update of your data can be done directly through the application. In future versions of the application, easier ways to exercise these rights will be implemented directly from the application.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

8. Billing - Subscriptions

MyDiCard offers paid subscription plans, including monthly and annual options. When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or have access to your payment information, such as credit card details. We may receive certain data from Apple or Google, such as: subscription status (active, canceled, expired), subscription type (monthly, annual, etc.), renewal date. 9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be notified through the app and by mail and will take effect upon publication.
